Are you stressing out about class with finals steadily approaching? Do you need extra help? Luckily for you Tri-C offers a great solution for its students. The Tutoring Center at Tri-C Eastern Campus is a great resource for students who have little to extreme difficulty in any class.

Tutoring Center offers free tutoring for many Tri-C courses for registered students. It is open Monday thru Thursday 9am-7:30pm, Friday 9am-2pm and Saturday 10am-1pm. But if you are too busy and don’t have time to stop in check this out: the Tutoring Center offers Smarthinking! Smarthinking allows you to email a professor of your choice questions and get timely responses.

Adam Avivi, a student currently attending Tri-C, gave his thoughts about tutoring and how it helped further him academically:

“I think the tutoring center is a great place for students who need help with their assignments. It’s one of the best resources Tri-C has to offer, you actually have people who are willing to help you and you also have some tutors who will stay over their time to make sure you understand a concept. It’s not just about the money for them and that’s what I like they actually care about their students and want to see them succeed.”

Carol Collins, Supervisor of Testing, gets great fulfillment from the advantages of tutoring.

“What gives me satisfaction and joy are the after effects of tutoring, to see that same kid that came into tutoring with bad grades leave out of tutoring now with good grades I love it. I love making that difference in a student’s life to know I was a part of that process to get them to where they are today, the best feeling in the world.”

How cool is that?! Please don’t wait until the last minute to take advantage of all the help you are offered at the Tutoring Center. Utilize your resources for a better class experience. After all, this is where futures begin.
