On November 14, several trash bags littered a corner of the North Galleria at Tri-C’s West Campus. In the center of it all, a transparent 8-foot shoot was erected, nearly spilling to the brim with garbage collected by Scott Huebler, grounds supervisor at the western campus, and his team. Trash was collected from the school parking lot and surrounding acres of land around the campus. The litter was only a week’s worth of trash at West. The frank, even if a little nauseating, site was a powerful reminder to try to utilize campus recycling and trash bins.
