In a stunning display of hustle, defense and offense, Cuyahoga Community College (11-13, 4-5 Ohio Community College Athletic Conference) charged all over the Edison Community College Chargers (9-12, 3-6 OCCAC) in front of a home audience at the Tri-C Metropolitan Gymnasium Feb. 16.

“It feels good, especially because we just went and beat Columbus State, so we’re on a little winning streak, so it feels good,” Center Josh Reagan said.

Coming off a three-game hiatus after having his minor surgery to remove plantar’s warts off his foot, Reagan (25.8 points, 10.6 rebounds per game) and Luke Toth (4.2 points, 3.3 rebounds per game) accomplished double-doubles in this game: Reagan with 30 points, 15 rebounds (4 off, 11 def) and Toth with 16 points, 10 rebounds (2 off, 8 def).

“This week in practice I was on the shooting gun alot,” Toth said. “I’ve been staying after practice a lot a couple hours or so, and getting on the gun and shooting about 500 shots, so I think that really helped out today, and, my teammates were getting me the ball very easy.”
