The most recent person diagnosed with the Ebola virus was visiting the Akron area and flew out of Hopkins back to Dallas this past Monday.

Amber Vinson, 26, is a nurse at the Dallas-area facility where Thomas Eric Duncan died after being the first person in the U.S. to die from exposure to Ebola.

Students in the Tri-C nursing program are taught to work with infectious diseases, but with Vinson’s visit to Akron after being exposed to the virus, some students are nervous at the implications should a case pop up here.
