Tri-C officials dig into the ground at a ceremony commemorating the start of a one-year project to build the Public Safety Training Center of Excellence at the Western Campus in Parma on Nov. 4. “The facility will house classrooms, an indoor shooting range and a gymnasium for physical training. Included in the renovation plans is an outdoor agility range to test strength and physical fitness, a retention pond for water rescues and an underground training area to test maneuverability in confined spaces,” the ceremonial program read.
