A Winning Experience of Cheers, Snacks, and Team Spirit!
By Sadara Wagner
Today, I attended our school’s Tri-C Triceratops game hosted by the Iron Dragons Fitness Club, and it was an absolute blast! Upon arrival, I ran into a few friends who were already there, making the experience even more enjoyable. Feeling a bit hungry, I was delighted to discover a convenient snack bar offering snacks and drinks for just $1 each – a game-changer! With snacks in hand, I secured the perfect seat right in the middle at the top of the bleachers. Pro tip: arriving early ensures better seating and closer parking.
Before the game started, I got to witness a student sing the national anthem and she put on a show! While our team dominated for most of the game, there was a nail-biting moment towards the end when they started falling behind. It’s quite a nerve-wracking experience to see your favorite team struggle, especially so close to the game’s conclusion. However, despite some tense moments, we managed to secure a victory in the end!
Experiencing the highs and lows of the game was truly exhilarating. I’ve decided to attend every game I can at the Metro Campus. If you’re interested in joining, visit the Tri-C Athletics page on our Tri-C website, select the boys’ basketball team, and you’ll find information on all upcoming games. Attending these games has become a fantastic way for me to unwind from the stress of classes, making the semester feel more enjoyable. Plus, it’s a fun way to support our team! And if you ever need a moment to release some stress, feel free to express yourself through cheers and yells during the game – within appropriate limits, of course. I hope to see you at the next one! Go Tri-Ceratops!
