UPDATE: More Star Power Coming to Tri-C to Win Votes for Obama

Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus will host a campaign rally by Former President Bill Clinton and Bruce Springsteen

It’s Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus’s turn to be in the limelight this Thursday when former President Bill Clinton and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Bruce Springsteen will campaign for Barack Obama in Parma.

The event is scheduled to be held in the soccer fields, located west of the HTC building with admittance starting at 11 a.m. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required to attend the event. The event plans to end by 1 a.m.

In case of rain, the event will be moved to Fieldhouse, with overflow areas with large video screens set up in the “A” atrium, the North Galleria and the theatre.

Tickets are available Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the following locations:

The Clinton-Springsteen event is part of a growing list of prominent people who have visited Tri-C campuses in the last few months: First Lady Michelle Obama visited the Metro Campus, former U.S. Sec. of State Madeleine Albright spoke at the Tri-C Presidential Scholarship Luncheon, PBS Newsman Tavis Smiley spoke at the Eastern Campus, and President Barack Obama spoke at the Metro Campus in June.
